Biofield Tuning

My Healing Approach

An adjunct Sound-Based Wellness Service

My approach to supporting nervous system regulation and overall coherence.
*Biofield Tuning is an optional 'extra' to talk therapy*

Biofield Tuning is a gentle, sound-based practice that uses tuning forks to support relaxation and nervous system balance. It works with the body’s natural electrical activity—helping to settle patterns of stress and support a shift toward a more organized, regulated state.

Many people are drawn to this work when they’re feeling mentally or physically depleted, overwhelmed, or simply “not quite themselves.” This approach offers a non-verbal way to support the body in settling—creating the conditions for clarity, ease, and more grounded day-to-day functioning.

Rather than focusing on analysis, the work is centred on supporting your system so it can do what it is naturally designed to do: restore balance, process stress, and reorganize.

You’re in the Right Place If…

This work may be a good fit if you’ve been running on empty for a while.

  • You’re often the one others rely on, and rarely get the chance to simply receive

  • You’ve been feeling scattered, foggy, or a bit disconnected from yourself

  • Stress has been building, and your body is ready for a reset

  • You’ve tried other approaches and are looking for something that works in a more integrative way

  • You identify as sensitive, intuitive, or open to body-based or energy-informed support

You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit from this work—just open to giving your system the opportunity to settle and restore.

How It Works (In Simple Terms)

Supporting the body through sound and gentle feedback.

During a session, tuning forks are activated and used both around the body and, at times, lightly on the body. These steady sound frequencies act as a form of feedback, helping to identify areas where the system may be holding tension or operating in a more stressed or disorganized pattern.

The process is quiet and individualized. Rather than “doing” something to you, the sound supports your system in responding and adjusting in its own way.

From a physiological perspective, sound and vibration are known to influence the nervous system and may help support relaxation responses in the body. Many people notice their breathing slowing, their body softening, and their mind becoming quieter as the session progresses.

What You Might Experience

Common responses as the system begins to settle.

Biofield Tuning offers a non-verbal way to support the body and mind. While each session is unique, many people report:

  • A deep sense of relaxation

  • Reduced physical tension

  • A quieter, more settled mental state

  • Increased clarity or focus

  • A greater sense of grounding or internal steadiness

Some individuals may also notice subtle physical sensations, such as warmth or gentle movement, or experience emotional release. Others simply feel calmer and more at ease.

There is no “right” response—sessions unfold differently for each person. For many, this more settled state can make it easier to process stress, integrate experiences, and move through daily life with greater clarity and balance.

How It Fits With Therapy

An optional complement to support regulation.

If you are also receiving psychotherapy, Biofield Tuning can be used as a complementary, non-clinical service to support nervous system regulation.

When the body is more settled, many people find it easier to engage in therapeutic work, process experiences, and respond to stress in a more grounded and effective way.

Supporting therapeutic approaches such as EMDR and trauma processing biofield tuning can serve as a powerful preparatory tool within a broader EMDR like framework. By using sound and vibration to help settle the nervous system and reduce physiological hyperarousal, this practice can help clients establish a stronger "window of tolerance" before engaging in trauma processing.

When the body feels safer and more regulated, clients may find it easier to access the dual awareness required for EMDR, potentially making the reprocessing of traumatic memories less overwhelming and more effective. It acts as a somatic bridge, helping to ground the client so they can fully engage in the therapeutic work with greater resilience.

In-Person and Virtual Sessions

Sessions are available both in person and virtually.

In-person sessions may include the gentle placement of weighted tuning forks on areas such as the feet, hips, or along the spine, which can feel grounding and help bring awareness into the body.

In virtual (distance) sessions, you rest comfortably in your own space while the tuning forks are used remotely. Many individuals report similar experiences of relaxation and settling, though responses can vary.
